Guidance From Yusef: The Birth of the Ego

Well, this is a BIG ONE—at least to me.  Yusef tells us how the Human EGO began.  He tells us that humanity was quite peaceful once. It was “a time of great and wondrous experience of life in the physical—Spirit experiencing the physical”.  But the simplest concept of “more and less” was introduced onto the Earth.  Then, in order to gain “more” and protect against “less”, humans developed a protective mechanism, the Ego, that separated us from each other.

images-5When I think of how simple it was to spiral a joyful, loving, peaceful community into the illusion of separateness that turned neighbor against neighbor, I am astonished and saddened.  Wow!  We have had eons of waging war to gain “more” and protect against “less”, but at last we are awakening to the notion that we are all in this together, and that peace is again a possibility for humanity.

YUSEF:

This is a teaching on EGO.

This aspect of the human experience was necessary for the preservation of humanity when it shifted from a peaceful existence to other than peace.

Forces intruded into the physical to make it aware of ‘more and less’.  The simple concept of ‘more and less’ set into motion the whole range of ego response that looks like what is found in your world today.

Now this is very real.  A [seemingly] needed protection, though the “need” was faulty and an illusion, turned humanity away from the joy and peace it knew and toward the many “dualities” present in your world.

The time of peace in your physical world was very real.  A time of great and wondrous experience of life in the physical–Spirit experiencing the physical.  What a wondrous thing!!!

Now this protective aspect that arose during the illusion of need became itself—reveling in its own power.  Clinging and nourishing its power with degrees of duality in the physical world.

Those more open to it used it to become seemingly more “powerful” and thus the illusion continued and grew stronger. Humanity was susceptible/vulnerable to the influence suggesting ‘more and less’.  A simple idea that contaminated the peace that existed then.

 

Guidance From Yusef: The Coming Times—A New Era

In Oct  of 2008 I received this message that is still relevant for today.  There is one thing about heavenly guidance—we are not given an exact time frame.  We have a need as humans to know the time frame for these things, but in Heaven there is no time.  We can recognize, however, that the words in this message were true in 2008 and are still true today.

 YUSEF: 

The world is on a precipice.  Decisions are imminent.  The outcomes determine the future of the Earth.  We come to share love and LIGHT with those of Earth.  We come to remind people of the power of LOVE, the direction of LIGHT.

The Universe shares in the physical experiences.  Emanations coming from Earth at this time warn of potential for catastrophic events.  “Percolating” is a close concept.  The Earth’s emanations reveal a negative percolating.

Now we join with many in bringing the presence of Love to the Earth plane awareness.

Thus enters in a new era.  Thus will the earth be blessed as many AWAKEN.

And out of the midst, ONE.

Coming forward now is the time beyond understanding when many will seek that which is beyond understanding.  Seeking to move forward, many will come.  Welcome these with open arms of love. The souls seeking at this time are being called [by God] to awaken.   

 

 

 

Guidance From Yusef: Seeing through the darkness

images-1In the darker times of our lives, when our human emotions of loneliness, sorrow, hurt, or despair have taken over and we are consumed with fears, it is important to remember that we are connected to, and are, Light.

YUSEF:

Darkness and Light are the contrasts to observe.  In the Light is growth [and] awareness, and seeing is possible.  In the dark growth is not possible.  Seeing is not possible.  Only in the Light can growth, seeing, [and] awareness of possibilities be seen.

Look to the Light.

There is much darkness in the world.  Many have lost sight of the Light.  Shine the Light of Life and Love so that all may see.

The third eye (inner eye, higher consciousness, or intuition) can see in the darkness when the physical eyes are blinded.  That eye is critical in “seeing” that which IS. The third eye sees and registers what is not in the physical.  It sees beyond.

In the darkness the [inner] Light can be the brightest.  Light and the source of Light are present.  Awareness, constant awareness will move all forward.

Life, as you know it will change.  Inevitable. Movement forward/evolution produces an alteration, causes a ripple in the web of life.

The message is this.  Life is.  Light is.

Guidance From Yusef: A Personal Note

Barbara: I have been encouraged to post this personal addition to the previous post:

I think I was forever changed when I realized for the first time that I have total power over my life. I had created my own life. God gave me the total freedom to do that. Free will! Wow! Life changing.

Oh, but then it followed that I was responsible for what my life looked like. I had no one to “blame” but myself. Ouch! That was a time of letting go of what I call “circling the wagons and pointing the guns (of blame) out”.  I love that image.  I had no one left to blame for my life circumstances–not my parents, my lack of money or time, my boss or co-workers, my spouse or children, or even my ancestors.  My life was the result of the responses, the choices, that I had made to life, one by one, throughout the years.

So I started looking at how I was responding to the people and events in my life, and what I was attracting to myself by those very responses. I began to see that when I was angry I found fault in those around me, and plenty of opportunities to be angry; when I was dissatisfied with where I was or what I had, I found a greater need for possessions or people; when I was judgmental then everyone and everything in my life needed to be fixed or changed.  Psychologists would call that “projection”.  I was projecting into the world and into my life who I was within myself!

Once I began to awaken and to take responsibility for my choices, something else happened. My ego began to act out. The ego comes with our human nature, but it is not our friend. It is jealous, deceitful, judgmental, protective of itself, and likes to live in the past or the future, and fret about both. It tells us to be afraid–that others and the world are out to get us, and that we must protect ourselves. It says we are not worthy, have many flaws, aren’t competent, are too fat, short, tall, etc.  My ego, in an attempt to retain control, went into “blame and shame” overtime.

By then it was too late, however.  I had discovered the truth.  I was in charge of my life, co-creating it with God each day.  If I wanted my life to change in any way I was the one who had to change it. If I had allowed the ego defenses that I had built up, then I could also supervise their tearing down.

That looking at the reality of myself led to the discovery of my Soul…that incredible, wonderful, True Self of me. And once I realized who I truly am–a spiritual being living in a human experience–well, everything changed. The True Self, or Soul nature, is non-judgmental, open, joyful, loving, and best of all, fearless. It doesn’t know anxiety, anger, unworthiness, blame or shame. It is the divine nature of us–the DNA of God. Which is why we can call God, Father.  And oh, the freedom I felt with the discovery of that truth!! I had experienced a glimpse of Heaven.

I began to be more aware of, and live out of, my Soul nature rather than my ego. I am still human, of course, and go back and forth between ego and Soul, but I have tasted the love, joy, and reality of my connection to the Divine Oneness, and I am aware of who I really am.  Now my challenge (and yours) is to live that out–to BE love, joy, and hope in the world more and more every day.

Guidance From Yusef: Awaken to Who You Really Are

In an earlier post Yusef told us:

Our intent is to encourage the AWAKENING of all Souls to LOVE during the Earth time! This benefits all Souls.  Awakening to LOVE allows that LOVE to bless all. As each one awakens, ALL are blessed in ways that are unimaginable to you now.

The reasons so many go through the day mindlessly, without thinking, are many, but in the simplest term, it is because many are ASLEEP:

  •  to what is really going on around them
  • to their own divine True Self, the Soul,
  • to their own actions, and perhaps more importantly,
  • to the motivations behind their actions.

This unawakened nature allows people to go through the world in a comfortable, status quo-like daze.  Though full of fear over their past and future issues and concerns, they move forward day-to-day fully believing that this is the “norm” for life on Earth.

And so it is for many.  The days go by filled with work, child or elder care, studies for school, or some other activity that we think is our lot or duty in life, while the person is robotically unaware of the unseen world, or the truth about themselves.

The truth is that our Soul, our Divine DNA, is who we are.  We are not our job, our status in the community, or even the body that we wear on this Earth.  To begin to know our True Self (Soul) we must get past the ego personality that we THINK is the real us, and its defenses of pride, judgment, rationalization, and fear.  We need to WAKE UP to our inherent goodness, our ultimate worthiness, and our oneness with the God of Love!

It does help to realize that we are the ones “authorizing” the barriers to awareness; we are the ones who allowed them to go up, and it is only we who can supervise their tearing down. Yusef says, You authorize the forces within you that keep you from Soul communication.  They hold no power apart from that which is given them.

Getting to know yourself is the greatest and most important work you can do in this lifetime.  Not easy of course.  No great discovery is easy.

Guidance From Yusef: Soul to Soul Connection

Yusef tells us now of two types of encounters we can have with each other.  First the contact we make without touching, but we still feel it in the physical.  An example would be when we communicate with each other with a look or a gesture.  Even though it is across a space and there is no touch, we still feel it in our bodies.

The second connection is the one that is made when a Soul recognizes another Soul. images-2When your Soul recognizes the Soul of another person on this Earth, you are connecting at another level entirely—a level your Soul understands, but the human mind cannot yet fully understand.

You may not know what is communicated Soul to Soul, but you are often able to sense or feel that something is happening beyond the physical. Why does this person seem so familiar to me?  Why do I feel as if I have known him/her forever?  Your human mind is a by-stander to this interaction but at some level you are aware of it. Just let it happen. No action is necessary.  Be aware that it is happening, and delight in the awareness as your Soul recognizes an old friend.

YUSEF:

When “connections” are made between persons there is a physical encounter that cannot be seen with the eye.  It is across the SPACE between persons. That space can be quite wide and yet a physical connection with a physical response  is made.

Beyond the physical there is another contact made. This is not physical. This is the more important, for within this passage of information is the real “connection”.

Let us attempt to explain this further.

We search for a word for what passes between life forms. “Information” will be sufficient now. When a connection is made between persons (not a physical touch) information passes between them, informing the other at a level which cannot be seen, of things which cannot be understood. Recognition is acknowledged beyond the conscious level.

Greetings are bestowed when the “stranger” on Earth is actually a loved one. Each recognizes the other and that instant carries more communication than you can imagine. SOULS communicate beyond the physical. They joy in the encounter and are blessed by it. If the physical allows, then these two souls can bless each other in the physical. That is a positive recognition and encounter. 

Let your soul communicate with the other soul. Be aware, but do not interfere. Do not try to pull this communication into consciousness.   Do not “grab” it or try to make sense of it.  Let it happen. It will be a meditative experience. But you will sense the results—blessings usually.

The negative is also a possibility. There are also dark souls on this Earth. You will have an adverse reaction to these encounters.

Guidance From Yusef: Interacting at the Frequency Level

Yusef reminds us how important it is to observe our own frequency.  He tells us that we actually attract others who are vibrating at a similar frequency.  We are somewhat like magnets that way.

So what do frequencies look like?  The “higher” frequencies look like love, acceptance, no judgment of self or others, compassion, peace, joy, etc.  The “lower” frequencies look like frustration, anger, blame, shame, impatience, judgment of self and others, etc.  We have only to look at our friends and those around us to be able to gauge where we are on the continuum. They will “mirror” our own frequency.  imagesYusef includes a caution:  When a person who is vibrating at a higher frequency (i.e. love and acceptance) spends time with someone who is at a lower frequency (i.e. angry or judgmental), then their own frequency is somewhat diminished.  It’s best not to spend too much time around those who may diminish our own frequencies.  We’re told to be aware and to “re-energize” through prayer, spiritual exercise, or just by being in the presence of those who also vibrate to the frequency of love and acceptance.  Then that love is amplified and blesses the Earth and the Heavens.

YUSEF:

Like frequencies gather together. There is an attraction there. Begin to notice the frequencies around you. When you are in the presence of others of like frequency there is an amplification that travels beyond the occupied space. Others who also exist at that frequency are “strummed” by your vibration, accept the “push”, and pass it on. Thus do frequencies interact.

When a person is vibrating at a higher frequency, but is surrounded by those vibrating at a lower frequency, that higher vibrational impetus is absorbed by the slower ones and is somewhat diluted. That is, its energy is lost [diminished] and lost momentum not only affects those around it, but returns to the sender in a slower vibrational field—affecting the sending higher vibrational source.

That diminishing must not be allowed for long periods of time. Rejuvenating, “re-energizing” must take place through direct meditation contact [with God], or contact with others of similar frequency that synergistically raise the vibrations of all reciprocally.

 

Guidance From Yusef: The Love Frequency of God

imagesThe pulse of God-energy is continuously vibrating with what could be termed a “Love-frequency”. This vibrating frequency of God-energy connects everything in the Universe.

We know that all matter vibrates and is connected. Even when we are quiet or still, the cells in our bodies continue to vibrate.  So it makes sense to try to place ourselves in a happily vibrating environment—one that is vibrating with love, joy, hope, respect, acceptance, etc.  The Love frequency of God—all the things our mind, body, and soul need to thrive.

If you find that you are in a negative environment—one that is vibrating with anger, shame, blame, or guilt—try your best to move to a more positive place. You may not realize the impact on you in the moment, but it is there. Your body, mind, and spirit will thank you.

YUSEF:

The frequency of the human body is influenced by many factors. It is affected by food and other intakes, the health of the organism, the emotional disposition, the openness to forces beyond the organism [you], [and many others]. 

The body is also affected directly by outside factors and the vibration of the matter directly in contact [with it] as well as the larger surrounding area. All matter interacts, either directly or more remotely, even vicariously. Thus the vibration of even the thoughts, especially the thoughts, of another causes a change in the rhythm or vibration, which impacts the organism [YOU].  As cogs and wheels interact so do these very real interactions take place.

Guidance From Yusef: Go With the Flow

images-2Each of us is a part of the whole, connected to everyone and everything  through the God-Energy pulsing throughout the Earth and the Universe.  We are one with all that is.  It follows that if we are all connected then we must influence and be influenced by everything. Yusef encourages us to “go with the flow”.

YUSEF:

The joy of the Universe is in the unlimited, boundary-less flow of energy—flow of ONE throughout all that is.  In that flow greater energy is produced.  There is a giving and receiving and giving and receiving without end, gathering momentum with each receiver who in turn gives, allowing the flow effortlessly and naturally.

In the larger view the “action” of receiving and giving is unseen, as the flow of life continues, enhanced because of the encounter.  In the quiet moments of stillness and awareness, this movement can be sensed—quite physically at times.

Just as the animals’ sense of hearing allows a broader range of sounds, so too does the acute attention to the vibration of the Universe cause one to begin to sense the flow.  The flow carries in and with it all the knowledge gained from each interaction.  Thus the more open to it, the more potential to gain from it as well as contribute to it.  All of life flows.  There is movement in all.  Nothing is stagnant/stable.  It is either growing or declining.  The flow of life is continuous.  There is no beginning and no ending.  Life IS.
