Guidance From Yusef: The Holy Spirit

On this Pentecost Sunday when Christians remember the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Jesus’ apostles, I share Yusef’s response when I asked him to tell us of the Holy Spirit, the Advocate, sent by the Christ.

YUSEF:

The Spirit, or ‘Advocate,’ that Jesus spoke of—what you term the “Holy Spirit,” is that which forever changed mankind.

It was Jesus who broke the barrier that separated humanity from divinity. He became ONE with God in his humanity and thus made it possible for all of humanity to attain that same oneness. 

The Spirit advocates for this reunion, the conscious awareness of who you are in God. This Spirit allows the experience of God in its true reality. 

This Spirit is the PRESENCE of God, that which opens the human to the EXPERIENCE, the KNOWING, of God while still in the human lifetime.

Jesus bestowed a KNOWING that had previously not been available. The Spirit Jesus sent connects the awareness, belief, and understanding of humanity with the One [God].

It is an immense gift. The awareness of this gift moves the transformation, enlightenment, and evolvement forward. The USE of the gift through prayer, meditation, and consciousness blesses the self and the world.

Guidance From Yusef: The Veil Thins

Yusef is a part of the Teacher or Guide or Helper Group in the Heavens. He and others serve as the guides for our souls during this lifetime. We each have a guide, and it is our souls that they shepherd. They are from God and are with us from birth and even before we were born. Nothing we do is unknown to them. Yusef tells me that he is my Helper, my Guide, and the “Friend of your Soul”.  It is my Soul that he knows, and it is my Soul that knows him.

But Yusef now says that the “veil” between Heaven and Earth is thinning, and we have greater access to awareness and assistance from all the heavenly beings. That’s exciting because we certainly do need God’s help to spread love and hope during this turbulent time on the Earth.

YUSEF:

It is with joy we come bringing news of wonder and awe. The Heavens are opening for those who can perceive the joy and graces pouring forth. The veil thins and there is greater opportunity to connect to all [the helpers] the Heavens send. We are making ourselves known throughout the Earth. All are cooperating in this effort.

It is during this time that Great Blessing occurs. Those aware will feel the shift. Opportunity abounds.

Those moving away [from God] will have an opportunity to change direction. Those moving closer [to God] will be drawn in with great joy. They will “wonder” at the wonder of it.

There are also voices speaking on the Earth now who, with support, will move the Earth to a “safer” place. These voices are beginning to be heard. It is the hopeful who will keep the heavens open. We are rejoicing with any who find their way to Love and Trust.

Guidance From Yusef: The Wonder of You

YUSEF:

Rejoice! Find joy in the little things of each moment, each day. SEE the gift in the beauty of nature. See the gift and the beauty in all of your encounters today.

But first, and above all else, find the gift and the beauty in your SELF. UnknownWhen you open to the beauty that you are—the gift that you are to those around you, (no matter what you are doing in this moment in time), you are opening to all the love and grace of the Heavens that pour through you to the Earth. It is only when you can recognize that YOU ARE LOVE that you can bring that love to the world.

Do not listen to the voices inside or outside of you that say you are nothing, no good, unworthy. Turn a deaf ear to any suggesting you are “less than.” It is IMPOSSIBLE for you to be ‘less than’. You are all worthy, wondrous children of God Most High. The love poured out on your behalf is immeasurable. Open to that love.  Let it pour through you into the world.

Revel in the love—bathe in its wondrous warmth and consolation. Let the light of it clear all worry, concern and fear.

You are held dear by the Father, the All. How could you not love yourself??

Do not listen to what the world says. It is deceiving you. You are the JOY of the Heavens. Bask in the wonder of that.

There is NOTHING you can do to change the love surrounding you right now. Open to it, Wondrous You! Believe it, Son and Daughter! It is real and trustworthy. It cannot be shaken. Believe.

Amen. Amen.

Guidance From Yusef: Letting Go of Who I Think I Am

Yusef continues the topic of changing from a fear-filled person, to a free-from-fear person. Entering the metaphorical cocoon he tells us requires a willingness to be changed. It all happens naturally as we let go of who we THINK we are. We humans are concerned about our identity, our personality…who will we be on the other side of the cocoon? Will we lose our very selves? What will it be like to be free-from-fear? Such a foreign idea!

YUSEF:

We resume: It is all GIFT for which there is no cost. The only “cost” is ACCEPTANCE/willingness. Acceptance demands a LETTING GO of that which humans cling so tenaciously to—attachment to identity.

The concern is that the personality, that which humans THINK is who they are, will be lost in the letting go. And indeed this bears some truth, for there is a shift in the ‘metamorphosis’ that adjusts the focus.

Identification with personality is: This is ME: I am…white/black/brown. I am this ethnicity, have this occupation, look like this, and so on.

When that is all let go in order to experience the “new” that was in potential already there, the orientation shifts.

The world may see the same body and personality, but you will feel completely different in your relationship to it. It no longer defines you, or IS you. You are in essence not a “new creation”, but rather you now remember who you REALLY ARE, and all is available to you.

You can metaphorically “fly.” And the light shining from within you makes you quite beautiful to others.

Guidance From Yusef: Letting Go of Fear

Barbara: A little explanation regarding caterpillars, butterflies, and metamorphosis….

Yusef uses the analogy of a caterpillar (the fearful us) going into a cocoon to be transformed into a butterfly (the free-from-fear us). This analogy is very powerful scientifically.

When a caterpillar forms a cocoon it disintegrates most of its body into a soup of sorts. But there are parts called “imaginal discs” that were already in the caterpillar and they become the basis for the growing butterfly. Some species of caterpillar even have tiny rudimentary wings already within their bodies. I love that image.

So the caterpillar LETS GO of its former “self,” literally dissolving it in order to become the new “self”.

For us that means being WILLING to be TRANSFORMED—not actually dissolved :). images-3We all have within us the potential to be free from the fears of this world as Jesus and others were. It just takes being willing to let go of our fearful self in order to LET GOD TRANSFORM US into the True Self that we already carry within us.

YUSEF:

Now, the cocoon is the task. Once you have willingly entered the cocoon the “work” is not yours. It is the inevitable transformation in which the false self of fear is completely disintegrated, allowing the True Self (that was already within you) to emerge.

The POTENTIAL that existed, waiting, now BECOMES in the new form. Beauty that was hidden within now emerges by LETTING GO of the old way.

As each one emerges from the cocoon transformed, the new experience of beauty, freedom, and joy will transmit to the Earth to enliven others still ‘crawling’ to be willing to chance the cocoon.

And the movement of more and more butterflies on the Earth will generate a wind that will sweep over the land to free it.images-2

Guidance from Yusef: It’s Time To Let Go of Fear

Happy Spring! This post and the next are exciting in their spirit of hope and the feeling of freedom from all the worries and concerns of life on this planet that bog us down. Yusuf is telling us it’s time to let go of fear. Well, that’s easier said than done. But the beautiful new spring growth on the Earth right now signals new beginnings and I think that is what the heavens want us to focus on now. We have all the help we need to begin to move away from fear and move toward the freedom of inner peace and happiness. Yay!

YUSEF:
The joy of the heavens is in stark contrast to the emanations coming from the Earth. This is unnecessary since the potential for joy on the Earth has never been greater.230766536_3adce9b68b_m

The scene is set to move past the influences of fear on the Earth—breaking free as a butterfly would break free of the boundary of the cocoon.

This must be the image put forth. It is time to be free of the constricting bonds of fear. The wonder of that freedom, though new and sometimes a struggle to acclimate to, connects you to the heavens.

Freedom from fear elevates, levitates the soul. More, it allows connection and communion with All That Is (God) in a new way.

Fear is of the Earth. Let go of fear to soar into the heavens while yet on the Earth.

Joy! Freedom!

Guidance From Yusef: Come to the Silence

Come to the SILENCE–the quiet of the nothingness. Rest in it. BE in it and you will find that you are not alone.

The ‘nothingness’ is ‘everything’, not in the sense of the physical matter of a filled space, but the EVERYTHING necessary for life, love, joy, unimaginable sensations of wonder.

This is what calls to you. This is ALL (God). This is more than home, or warmth, or the familiar. This calls you to be LOST in it. To know it because it IS you, because you are ONE with it.

Guidance From Yusef: All Affects All

Yusef, you say the Heavens know what we think and what we say and do.

All affects all. That is difficult for you now. Enlarge your thinking. Consider your thoughts and actions. Each goes out into the heavens to impact all of “us” and because you are also a part of the “us,” all that you are experiencing the greater body of “us” is also experiencing.

Think of this. When you have a toothache the pain of that small part of you is the focus of your whole body. The entire body is aware of the pain. There is no judgment around the pain. Rather there is greater love and care focused there. Helpers are sent (human immune system) and all in the body work to help that small part be well again. It is the same in the heavens.

When you feel love and joy–holding a newborn baby, a loving embrace, an awe inspiring sunset, a ride at a [theme] park–all these happy joyful emotions affect your entire body. The reaction of the chemicals in the human body prove without a question that your entire organism is aware of joy. Likewise it is aware of stress.

In the general sense all actions, feelings, thoughts from all on the Earth emanate out into the heavens to add to the experience and growth and expansion of ALL.

This is why we encourage EACH on the Earth to love, find joy and happiness, care and console, be understanding, and show compassion. This is the Soul’s way, the way of ALL.  Let that which is not of Soul fall away.

Guidance From Yusef: Darkness and Fear

Barbara: Yusef today talks about the dark side and fear. It is my understanding that refers not only to the abbhorent acts taking place in the world today, but also refers to our response to them. Some human forces in the world (and the media) would have us be afraid and fearful of everything. The energy of fear is contagious and the fact that Yusef says the world is sending out more and more fear should alarm us.  Our being fearful blocks light, love, and joy which are the only “weapons” we have against darkness. Today I pray we can look to the light within us, the light from the heavens, and the beauty and love still very present in the world. As the Light grows stronger the darkness cannot be sustained.

YUSEF:

The world you now occupy remains precarious. There is a tipping toward the dark side of FEAR rather than light and love.

Now we must assert that there is no real “dark side.” However, there is an energy that comes from the increasing fear in the world. In actuality it is most important to remember that it has no force other than what you give it.

Therefore it is not necessary to “take up arms” or “do battle” against this force. It is only necessary to turn to love and joy. In this light the darkness has no power.

Find the light–the joy in this day and every day–MOST IMPORTANT.
