Guidance From Yusef: Question: Communicating with Spirit

Question: Is there a way to become more in tune, or aware—in order to be in communication with Angels and Spirit?

YUSEF:

We delight in this question. Said simply, it is all about ENERGY. Spirit must lower the frequency of their vibration and you must raise yours.

The energetic vibrations of Angels and other entities of God are beyond the vibration of most on the Earth. Thus, they must moderate/adjust their vibration to speak to you. It is helpful for you to move into higher vibrations to be able to hear them.

To attune to Spirit, you can raise your vibration through prayer, meditation, or just thinking happy, loving, or peaceful thoughts. These move you out of your human nature/ego and allow you to be present and OPEN to spirit.

Do not “try” to hear. You must “allow” spirit to present itself to you. When you “try to hear” as you say, you are in your humanness and your ego is running the show/the script.  Instead, simply be present—more difficult than it seems, with your human thinking and worries distracting you. Let go of these.

We do not want you to think that you must be praying, or meditating, watching a sunset, or in a “holy” place, (although these are good places to start). Spirit is also speaking and guiding as you move through your day. When we speak of being present, this may occur in any moment—while riding on an elevator, walking, or working, etc. It is any moment that calls you away from ego—when your soul can be present. When you were a child you may have called this “day dreaming,”—those times when you were out of your thinking mind. We hope this image helps. Practice this.

 Let us explain further. When one “hears” words or guidance, as the one writing this does, the communication comes through the human mind, but it is not the thinking mind. It is recognized as spirit because the ideas and words are not your own. It is obvious that what you are hearing comes from other than yourself. 

Spirits—Angels, Guides, and other Helpers—are constantly trying to get your attention. It is you who must attune to them. 

You may feel the love they send to you, or you may “hear” something in your mind, or you may simply be in a space of silence. Allow all. Do not doubt. You are not crazy. You are in tune with spirit that is communicating with you. 

They are always speaking to you. It is you who must:

  • raise your vibration
  • stay open (be present)
  • have no expectations (allow spirit to be with you, however spirit choses)
  • oh, and believe your experience (smile)

NOTE: To hear spirit audibly, through the human ears, is uncommon, although it can occur. That requires spirit to lower their vibration tremendously in order for the sound to reach the ears of the human. As we say—most uncommon.

Hi to All, The following is a compilation of guidance from Yusef and my own additions. Enjoy!

Thoughts for a New Year

Love yourself. Be kind to yourself. It makes it easier to love and be kind to others.

Judge no one. We cannot know God’s plan for others, or the reason their souls chose to incarnate at this time and in this place. Accept them. Help them. Love them. Pray for them. It’s good for your soul, too.

Do not judge yourself. Notice your thoughts, words, and actions—without judgment. Then decide whether to keep them or change them. They are yours after all.

Judge no circumstance or situation. Look for the blessing, the joy, the opportunity, or the lesson. Give thanks for all.

Pay attention to your vibration (the state of your being). Notice how you, and your body, react to people or situations in your life. If you do not resonate with them, you may want to make changes…in yourself or in your situations.

You create your life through the choices you make. Be aware! Make conscious choices—the power is yours. Do not give others power over your life.

You have the truth within you. It may reveal itself in prayer/meditation, through what you read, or what you watch, or through a spiritual companion. You recognize it as truth because you knew it first. Look inward—God is there.

Your human nature is a “story,” created by your soul and God for this lifetime. You are not your story. You are a divine and limitless being—a child of God—the Source of Life and Love. Remember this.

Spend time in silence this year. Just sit with God.

Send love and light to all you encounter. You will bless them, and your Light will balance the fear so present in the world today.

Do not limit the Holy Spirit, who continues to reveal God to you, and to the world. Stay open.

Guidance From Yusef: Reader Question

Reader Question: When people do not ascend directly into Heaven, are they being held back by their own reservations? Are they not accepting of Heavens love?

YUSEF:

Each soul that leaves the human body has many choices. It is important, however, to realize that each one is surrounded by loving beings—before as well as during, the leaving. Love is always available.

There are those who may be unwilling to fully leave the earth at first. Part of them remains attached to the earth. Connections to loved ones, or unfinished business, or great trauma can be strong, and some part of them may chose to remain closer to the earth for a time. Remember though, that the “Major Soul” of each person is always with God.

Each person’s/soul’s acceptance of Love (God) is a complex dynamic that is not  “simple,” or easy for the human mind to comprehend. Love surrounds and is always present to each person. Yet the “state” of one’s soul—that is, its openness to the Love that surrounds it—determines how it experiences that Love. We recognize this is a difficult concept and will explain further if asked.

We remind you again that your loving thoughts/prayers are beneficial to all souls who have left the earthly realm. Those who for their own reasons are not yet in the fullness of what you call “Heaven” will benefit from your love. We also love and “pray” for them.

And are these the people that show themselves to me every night?

There are some people who are “open” to seeing, like the one asking this question. Thus some souls or heavenly beings may chose these to visit. The beings/souls reveal themselves for many reasons, most of which the human mind cannot understand, but your soul may recognize them. The one asking sees, and has given them permission to come, and we suggest that he send love to all.

We advise everyone reading this, that you need not react in fear, but always send love to those beings who may visit you. You may speak to them if you wish. We caution, however, that each night before you sleep you set the intention that only beings of Light and Love may visit. None other are welcome. 

You always have the option to accept visitors or tell them they are not welcome to come to you. The boundaries you set with your intention will be respected. It may also be helpful to enlist the aid of your Angel or Guide who can be the  “gatekeeper” for you. Speak to them of your intention. They are of God and will “monitor” your visitors. Fear not.
